Të Pathënat is an anonymous message archive based in Albania. You can reach us at socials.tepathenat@gmail.com.

Information you submit

You don't need an account to use Të Pathënat, and we never ask for your name, email address or phone number to send a message or add a memory.

When you send a message, we store the first name of the person it is for, the text, the colour you chose and the time it was sent. When you add a memory to the Memories Map, we store the text, the category, the date you entered and the place you selected on the map. Published messages and memories are public and can be read, searched and shared by anyone.

Please don't include surnames, contact details or anything else that could identify you or another person. Messages that contain such information may be rejected or removed.

Information collected automatically

When you send a message, add a memory or like a post, we store the IP address it came from. We use it only to prevent spam and abuse, to enforce daily limits, and to make sure each post can be liked only once per visitor.

Like most websites, our servers and service providers also log technical information such as your browser type, device type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit.

Cookies and local storage

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We use your browser’s local storage to remember the language you chose and to show you a confirmation after you send a message. Our analytics and advertising partners, described below, use cookies to measure visits and to show ads.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the website, for example which pages are visited most. How long we keep information

Published messages and memories stay on the website until we remove them or you ask us to. IP addresses are kept together with the post or like they belong to.

Your rights

Children's privacy

Të Pathënat is not directed to anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
